Get Plied, but not Prejudice

This isn’t your typical Pride & Prejudice retelling—and you’ll be better for it. Fresh from a hit run in Australia, Plied & Prejudice (with a cheeky twist) has landed in London, now playing at The Vaults.

You’re immersed from the moment you arrive: the underground tunnels are transformed into a lush garden straight out of Bridgerton, complete with a string duo performing pop hits in classical style, a themed bar, and a delightfully over-the-top host to welcome you into this wild world.
Pro tip: arrive early to fully expose yourself - politely, of course - to the experience.

Inside the performance space, you’ll find benches, chairs, and even a luxury sofa (if you're feeling fancy with your ticket choice), each with a personal table and QR code for drinks delivered straight from the bar. It’s giving regency-era VIP treatment.

On stage, five incredibly versatile actors take on over twenty roles in a chaotic and hilarious reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic. The result? A riotous romp through regency drama, packed with rapid-fire costume changes, physical comedy, and razor-sharp timing. It’s tongue-in-cheek naughty—though dare I say, I kind of wish it went even further?

Don’t rush off after the final bow - you’ll want to stick around for the wedding of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. It’s the perfect cherry on top of the madness.

Whether you’re a die-hard Austen fan or only know the basics of the plot, you’re in for an outrageous, laugh-out-loud night. Bold, boozy, and brimming with irreverent fun - you’ll definitely want to get plied, not prejudiced.

It’s playing until June 14th 2025.
